Hotel Asia Exhibition and Culinary Challenge returns

Maldives Promotion House – This year’s Hotel Asia Exhibition and Culinary Challenge, an event to promote food and beverages, and other supplies for the hotel industry in Maldives, will start on 11th September, and will continue for two days. The exhibition is held in Dharubaaruge and will be judged by international judges.

While this is the 11th consecutive year and the seventh edition of the event, it is one of the single largest event in the Maldives that showcases food, drink, foodservice, hospitality and hotel equipment.

This year’s event will include international exhibitors from countries India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, China and also from Maldives. Total of 150 booths will be on display.

The culinary challenge is one of the highly anticipated events at Hotel Asia where 400 chefs from 40 resorts and hotels take part vying for top honors. Most of the culinary challenge’s 16 categories are spot preparations with simultaneous judging and feedback. Best two chefs from the challenge will get the chance to participate in International Culinary Challenge in Singapore.

The challenge provides an excellent opportunity to meet hundreds of food and beverage executives over a span of three days making it a dynamic marketplace for face-to-face business and industry innovation.
