Maldives.net.mv – Meeru Island Resort has added a museum to many facilities offered by the resort. Located close to the resort’s Dhoni Bar, swimming pool and next to a blue whale skeleton, Dhoni shaped, thatched roof building is the home to the museum named as “meerumuseum”.
The museum displays pieces of history, tradition, art and culture depicting the Maldivian life style of the past centuries and the present. Exhibited in professionally built museum vitrines guests can take a walk into the past of Maldives. Descriptions are available in 5 languages.
