Dolphins swim and spin all along the seashell dappled shores of Six Senses Laamu, the only resort in Laamu Atoll, just five degrees north of the Equator. With a coral rich house reef among Oriental Sweetlips, parrotfish and even green turtles Laamu also has Yin Yang, one of the Maldives’ most famous waves, that breaks just offshore.
Their resident mixologist whips up bespoke concoctions while chefs from East and West prepare wholesome recipes made with herbs, vegetables and fruits grown in the island’s organic garden. Laamu is only 45 minutes south by a scheduled flight from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport.
