Maldives.net.mv – Dusit Thani Maldives has launched a new programme of affordable spa treatments at its Devarana Spa, famed for its eight iconic treatment pods – six of which enjoy an elevated position amid a grove of coconut palms.

The new ‘Spa Value Package’ options are designed to make the resort’s opulent Devarana Spa even more affordable, with treatments priced under US$100.

There are six options to choose from, each lasting 60 minutes, including four body massages, one body scrub and one facial treatment – each priced at just £64 including taxes.

The options comprise an Aromatic Warm Oil Massage; Aroma Thai Massage; Exotic Maldivian Oil Massage; Asian Blend Massage; the rejuvenating Mudhdhoo Body Glow, which incorporates an exfoliating and nourishing Sugar and Coconut Scrub; and Aromatic Sea Facial, which uses several types of seaweed, plant extracts and oil and is accompanied by a hand massage.

Joachim Schuette, general manager, said: “The Devarana at Dusit Thani Maldives takes spa lovers on a cultural and sensory journey, offering a truly tranquil haven from the rigours of the outside world.

“Thanks to our new Spa Value promotional packages it’s even more affordable and accessible than ever and with such a great range of treatments on offer at just US $98 you may well end up trying them all.”

At the same time the resort, which enjoys an idyllic setting within a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve on beautiful Mudhdhoo Island, northwest of Male, is bolstering its wellness credentials by investing in new sports and recreational facilities.

New facilities currently under construction include a new 800m Mudhdhoo Fitness Trail leading from the Spa to the Fitness Centre.

The trail features ten activity points such as Sit Up Bench, Push Up Bars, Balance Beam, Parallel Bars, Chin Up Bars and Monkey Bars. Plus, back in February the resort launched the Maldives’ first, and only officially recognised, Free-diving centre.

From the Devarana Spa to its Borderless Beach Dining programme and famous infinity pool, one of the largest in the Maldives at 750sqm, the Dusit Thani Maldives is not short on wow factor.

For an added touch of exclusive luxury consider splurging on a stay in one of the lavish, recently launched 690sqm three-bedroom Beach Residence.

In an event that harmonised luxury with the healing powers of nature, OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI’s ELE | NA Elements of Nature spa in the Maldives launched the Philosophia Botanica range on May 7. The event, held as a masterclass, showcased the brand’s commitment to sustainability and wellness through a series of immersive experiences.

The day began with an exclusive resort tour, offering a glimpse into the serene world of OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI. The attendees were treated to the resort’s exquisite design that blends elegance with environmental consciousness, setting the stage for the day’s theme of holistic wellbeing.

One of the highlights was a sound healing session. Participants were invited to unlock the harmonious power of sound to rejuvenate their mind, body, and spirit. The session promised a symphony of wellbeing, with resonant tones and vibrations that facilitated deep relaxation and a sense of inner peace.

A wellness lunch followed, featuring a menu curated with organic ingredients that complemented the Philosophia Botanica ethos. The culinary experience was not only a feast for the senses but also a testament to the resort’s dedication to nourishing the body with natural goodness.

The afternoon was dedicated to a masterclass on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) face mapping, led by a renowned TCM practitioner from Philosophia Botanica. Attendees delved into ancient wisdom, learning to read the secrets of health and wellness etched on their faces. The session provided insights into how facial diagnostics could reveal one’s inner state of health and offered guidance on how to maintain balance and vitality.

Philosophia Botanica’s launch was more than an introduction to a product line; it was a celebration of the brand’s journey towards sustainability. With responsibly sourced ingredients and eco-friendly practices, Philosophia Botanica stands at the intersection of botanical wisdom and adaptogenic herbs. Inspired by the aromatic landscapes of the Ligurian Macchia Mediterranea and the southern African fynbos, the products are a testament to the brand’s philosophy of regenerative beauty.
