Baraabaru Restaurant at Kuda Huraa among the ‘101 Best Hotel Restaurants Around the World’

Maldives Promotion House – Baraabaru Restaurant from Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, has made it to The Daily Meal’s first annual ‘101 Best Hotel Restaurants Around the World’ List.

Baraabaru restaurant situated in a picturesque corner of Kuda Huraa is inspired by the architecture of Kerala, with a spectacular torch-lit deck over the lagoon. It features an open kitchen with a tandoori bar. Chefs prepare classic Indian dishes with an emphasis on local seafood like Maldivian fish cakes and onion- and mint-marinated tiger prawns; biryanis are served in clay pots. There is a special Sunday night Ghar Ka Khana, a buffet of curries, biryanis, chutneys, and kebabs. The dining experience is enhanced by the melodious strains of the sitar and tabla. To celebrate special occasions there is also an exclusive private dining pavilion.

Based in the United States, The Daily Meal is one of the largest and highest quality resource for food and drink information and inspiration on the web.

The List, described as ‘a carefully curated collection’ of ‘the world’s most exemplary hotel feasts’, was compiled through recommendations from The Daily Meal’s editors, who have travelled extensively around the world, and by consulting various trusted sources such as the Michelin Guide.
