Emirates again ups Maldives frequency, offers four daily flights
Emirates has increased passenger services to Maldives with four daily flights until January 31, 2021.
The added flight will offer customers greater connectivity during the holiday season, and also reaffirms the airline’s commitment to supporting the island nation’s tourism industry.
The fourth daily flight will operate as Emirates flight EK 662, departing Dubai at 8.45am and arrive in Male at 2pm local time. The return flight, EK 663, will depart Male at 3.45pm and arrive in Dubai at 7pm local time.
The additional service will complement the airline’s 21 weekly flights — operated by the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft — connecting the scenic archipelago to a global network of 100 destinations, including 31 in Europe, a major tourist market for the Maldives.

Emirates, which runs the world’s biggest airline by international traffic, resumed services to the Maldives on July 16 after a three-month hiatus in the wake of border closures by the Maldivian authorities to control the coronavirus outbreak.
Emirates’ booking policies offer customers flexibility and confidence to plan their travel.
Customers who purchase an Emirates ticket for travel on or before June 30, 2021, can enjoy generous rebooking terms and options, if they have to change their travel plans.
Customers have options to change their travel dates or extend their ticket validity for two years.

The cover is offered by Emirates on all tickets purchased on or from December 1, at no cost to customers.

Emirates customers who require a Covid-19 PCR test certificate prior to departure from Dubai, can avail of special rates at clinics across Dubai by simply presenting their ticket or boarding pass.
