Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has appointed Helen Bolton as the new Director of Sales and Marketing for Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi resort.

Helen joins AccorHotels’ Fairmont brand from Sri Lankan luxury boutique hotel chain Resplendent Ceylon, where she served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the group’s three resorts.

With over a decade of experience in sales and marketing, Helen’s career spans across several luxury resorts in the Maldives, such as Conrad Rangali Island and Anantara Resort, as well as New Zealand, Fiji and Sri Lanka.

With unparalleled knowledge of the Maldivian marketplace, at Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi, Helen will spearhead the luxury resort’s sales, marketing and revenue strategies, applying her experience of working with clients and stakeholders from across the globe, and black book of key wholesale, tour operator and travel agent contacts.

A sun-soaked sanctuary that opened in April 2018, Fairmont Maldives is the only resort on the pristine Shaviyani atoll, and offers 112 luxury villas each with their own private pool. Fairmont Maldives is located in the northern Shaviyani atoll. The resort is accessible by domestic flight in 50 minutes from Velana International Airport followed by a speedboat from Hanimaadhoo Airport to the resort. Alternatively, guests can book a 50-minute scenic seaplane flight directly to the resort.
