Maldives Promotion House – Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has announced the opening of a competition for Maldivian photographers. The competition which is divided into 20 different categories will be open from 16^th July to 16^th December 2012.

MMPRC is also offering a total prize of MVR 250,000 for the winners. The first place winner will be awarded MVR 50,000 while the second place winner will get MVR 30,000 and 20,000 for the third place. In addition MVR 5000 will be awarded for each category winner.

The purpose of the competition is to source professional unique photos to promote Maldives and to motivate the professional Maldivians to contribute their creative photos for the promotion of the Maldives.
