Mandara Spa opens 14th spa facility in Maldives

Mandara Spa has opened a new spa facility at Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives, marking the brand’s 14th spa in the island nation.

The stunning Mandara Spa at Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives brings a touch of Bali in an overwater villa setting. It is the resort’s focal point, supported by a service style that considers the guests’ need for escape and unobtrusive delivery and ambience, in an incredibly picturesque ocean backdrop setting.

Mandara Spa is comprised of four double treatments rooms, two single rooms with indoor showers, and a manicure and pedicure area.

The spa menu is created to showcase the exclusive nature of the spa and to offer guests an outstanding spa experience. It combines traditional Asian favourites with spa therapies from the luxury British skincare brand ELEMIS that reflect the ocean and nature theme. Signature body massages and multi-treatment packages, complemented by result-driven facials, are intended to restore, transform and allow guests to transcend in the moment.

The Spa Boutique offers a beautiful range of products and accessories from Mandara Spa and ELEMIS, allowing guests to continue their spa experience at home.

“We are very pleased to launch our 14th spa in the Maldives and excited about our continued collaboration with Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts at this beautiful resort,” Trent Munday, Senior Vice President – International at Mandara Spa Asia, was quoted in a statement, as saying.

Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives is located on the island of Aarahveli in Vaavu atoll, a 25-minute scenic seaplane journey from the Maldives main Velana International Airport. The recently-opened five-star deluxe resort features 72 overwater villas and 20 beach villas in sleek Italian design elements, with an array of unique dining and recreational facilities, including a swimmable lagoon surrounding the island with an abundance of marine-life.
