Maldivian begins flights to Mumbai, Chennai and Dhaka
Maldives Promotion House – Maldivian airlines has started flights to its new destinations, Chennai and Dhaka. Maldivian’s inaugural Malé-Chennai-Dhaka flight by the 152 seater A320 landed at Chennai International Airport Thursday.
The aircraft was given water salute by the Fire tenders at the Chennai International Airport and the disembarking passengers were welcomed by the airline staff with garlands of jasmine flower.
Maldivian will operate three flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays to Malé-Chennai-Dhaka route.
On Sunday Maldivian started flights to Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. Leading tour operators and travel agents from Mumbai gave a warm welcome to the passengers.
The airline will operate three flights per week to Mumbai, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
