Hurawalhi Maldives announces Chinese New Year programme
Hurawalhi Maldives has invited Chinese guests to spend precious time with their significant other, friends or family in the Maldives over the coming lunar new year.
Guests can enjoy the Spring Festival time and ring in the new year at the adults-only private island resort that makes their tropical holiday dreams come true: admiring the colours of the ocean from their water villa, having a picture-perfect sandbank all to themselves, doing an introduction dive, seeing dolphins in the wild, and perhaps even a romantic proposal during sunset dinner at 5.8 Undersea Restaurant.
“At Hurawalhi we know that a good start of the year means that luck will be on your side for the whole year, so we are excited about the wonderful events to honour the turn of the lunar calendar,” an announcement by the resort read.
Guests are invited to join Hurawalhi’s team as they go handline fishing at sunset on the February 14 and dine on the beach under the stars the following day. Any fish guests may catch will be cooked to their liking in either Canneli Restaurant or during the candlelight beach dinner if they decide to celebrate the lunar new year with soft sand between their toes.
“We hope the hand-picked contents of your boxes of harmony will bring you the desired blessings in the new year, that your mouth will water over the delicious Poon choi, niangao and jiaozi dumplings, and that the additional surprises we have in store for you will be the start of a prosperous, lucky and successful year,” the resort said.
Meanwhile, Hurawalhi is offering a 20 percent discount for stays in February.
Officially inaugurated in January 2016, the five-star Hurawalhi resort is accessible by a 40-minute scenic seaplane flight from the main airport, and offers 90 villas, including 60 Ocean Villas and 30 Beach Villas, for grown-ups who are seeking luxury and innovation. The villas are stylishly and beautifully conceived featuring soothing décor, sumptuous linens on king size beds, bleached wooden floors, and private terraces with panoramic views.
There is an ocean of delights to take in at Hurawalhi Maldives: dining at 5.8 Undersea Restaurant, snuggling up with your darling under a blanket or sparkling stars on the iconic Dream Island sandbank, falling in love with the plethora of marine life on the island’s doorstep – in fact, one visit to the resort is hardly enough to experience it all.
