InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort is set to host a recruitment open day.

The first mass recruitment event by the resort will take place on March 21 from 9am to 6pm at Maagiri Hotel in capital Male. The management team of the resort will attend the event and will personally greet the participants. The event would be an eye-opening opportunity to individuals who are enthusiastic to work in the travel industry. Both local and foreign individuals are welcome to attend the event and pursue working for an international hospitality chain.

“We have close to 200 vacancies that we are trying to fill at the moment. InterContinental is looking for passionate, charismatic and approachable individuals who have ready smiles and have the heart in delivering true hospitality to our guests,”Ali Saleem, Director of Human Resources at InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort, said.

The events were held to highlight the company’s recent rebranding and to familiarise travel agents with the significant changes made as part of its strategic Blue Ocean Shift.

Villa Resorts has a significant market presence in India, and the events were part of the company’s ongoing efforts to work closely with its partners to showcase its transformation and enhancements in its products and services.

The familiarisation events drew over 200 participants, making it one of the largest series of events for travel agents ever hosted by a Maldivian resort group.
