Triple win for Kandima Maldives at World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2018

Kandima Maldives has won three titles at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2018.
At the 2018 World Luxury Restaurant Awards Gala held at the Galgorm Resort and Spa on July 14, the resort’s Smoked restaurant received two continental awards: top Luxury Grill and Luxury Steakhouse in Indian Ocean.
Smoked is all about perfect steaks, fresh fish and incredible sunset views. Guests can enjoy delicious meat, fish and vegetarian dishes from the open BBQ kitchen.
Meanwhile, the Sea Dragon restaurant at Kandima bagged the continental award for the top Chinese Cuisine in Indian Ocean.
Authentic Chinese cuisine with a modern touch is expertly prepared and served family-style at the Sea Dragon, where the mood is sensual and mysterious.
Located on a lush tropical island in Dhaalu Atoll, Kandima offers a choice of 272 stylishly designed studios and villas, with 11 different categories to choose from, all of which have a private terrace and endless tropical views to enjoy.

Votes come from both guests and industry experts, thus providing a balanced and unbiased outcome based on the food experience as a whole.

March welcomes Chef Denis Lucchi, a Michelin-starred maestro of Italian cuisine. Renowned for his refined artistry, Chef Lucchi celebrates the essence of Italian heritage while introducing a modern twist. His dishes are an ode to Italy’s rich culinary traditions, crafted with passion and precision.
In April, Chef Steve Lancaster, another Michelin-starred luminary, showcases his ability to reinvent classic dishes with modern creativity. His innovative techniques and imaginative flavours promise a dining experience that delights every palate.
May concludes this culinary journey with the exceptional talent of Chef Christiaan Stoop. A three- and two-Michelin-starred chef, Christiaan is celebrated for his avant-garde approach to fine dining. Elvira’s warm and engaging demeanour infused the evening with joy and laughter.
