Baros Maldives has upgraded its Deluxe Villas, providing guests a higher level of comfort and luxury in a refreshingly elegant style.
Although these 24 Deluxe Villas are standard accommodation at Baros Maldives, they now have a sophisticated ambience and many extras that make them outstanding. The interiors feature a generous 89 square metres of blissful living space transformed with bright décor reflecting the spirit of endless summer. The stylish upgrading exemplifies the epitome of graceful design with an invitingly plush kingside bed, settee with a view of the sea, and work and vanity tables in side alcoves.
The polished wooden furniture is neo art-deco in style with simple, classical shapes redefining luxury accommodation, with a new, flat screen television on a contemporary easel. There is individual air- conditioning and a ceiling fan. Silently sliding French windows open onto a white sandstone deck, widened to accommodate a large day bed and a table for two for alfresco dining or cocktails as the sun sets.
A unique feature of these upgraded Villas is the beautiful, partly open-air bathroom with waterfall shower in a sandstone-walled flower garden and stand-alone oval bathtub. The underside of the timber roof is painted white to reflect natural light; a ceiling fan cools the air.

From 25 December 2025 to 7 January 2026, guests may purchase wrapped gifts from a Christmas Charity Surprise Tree, with all proceeds directed to the resort’s charitable causes.
On 27 December 2025, Euro Divers will lead a coral-planting session within the house reef. The activity forms part of an ongoing conservation effort to strengthen reef resilience by increasing coral diversity through the careful planting of hardy coral fragments.
Seasalt restaurant will host a “Boat to Table” beachfront barbecue on 28 December 2025 and 4 January 2026. The buffet will feature seafood such as giant tuna sashimi, ceviche and grilled fish prepared from the day’s catch supplied by local fishermen, reflecting the resort’s focus on local sourcing and support for the Raa Atoll community.
A Charity Kayak Race will take place on 30 December 2025 and 5 January 2026. Entry will be by voluntary donation, with funds supporting enhancements at the R. Maduvvari pre-school.
On 2 January 2026, the programme will conclude with a Charity Island Fun Run around the island. Branded t-shirts will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the resort’s community initiatives.
