Kurumba Maldives festive season mix

Maldives.net.mv – Kurumba Maldives has prepared a delectable Festive Season program for its guests to celebrate 2013 and to welcome 2014.
The celebration starts on the 23rd of December, kicking off the festivities with a sandbank picnic. Then proceeds a two-week exhilarating agenda that includes Christmas Carols, Christmas Pudding Mix and a sumptuous Christmas Eve buffet that will delight the taste buds. A visit from someone special (with a ho ho ho) is arranged for the little ones. Be prepared for a very unique entry of the big man in red. While little and big kids alike are delighted by a variety Magic show.
A Boxing Day Barbecue helps to relieve the post Christmas blues. While the kids are off on a treasure hunt and adults can enjoy a cocktail master class or wine tasting in the lagoon at the Sand Bar.
Building up to the New Year there will be a variety of day and night time adventures to choose from, at what ever pace suits from Tai Chi to Volleyball, Sunset Jazz at the Sand Bar to Clubbers evenings at Rendezvous Lounge.
On New Year’s Eve the little ones don’t miss out on the fun with their own pre-dinner party before they chill out at Majaa recreation.
The best night of the year begins with Champagne cocktails and oysters by the pool in preparation for the “I’m a star” dinner, show and party. Be prepared to walk the red carpet and be photographed by paparazzi, while doing some star spotting of your own. After the live band, Def note, and percussion show performs move on to Rendezvous Lounge for the late night clubbers party.
We also do not forget Orthodox Christmas with yet another deluxe buffet extravaganza at Ocean Grill.

The festivities begin on 21 December with the traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the island’s sandbank. Guests can enjoy tropical cocktails, canapés, and live festive music by the resident band. In the days leading up to Christmas, guests will have the opportunity to take part in cultural excursions, such as local island tours, or join engaging culinary sessions including Thai cooking and sushi-making demonstrations. Family-friendly fun continues with treasure hunts, sand sculpting competitions, and live evening entertainment across the island’s bars.
For younger guests, the Bageecha Kids Club will host a daily festive programme from 21 December to 1 January 2026. Activities include cookie and ornament decorating, gingerbread house building, jewellery-making workshops, and coconut painting. Children can also join fitness and water games, including yoga, Zumba, beach Olympics, and Splash Pad fun. Highlights of the children’s schedule include writing letters to Santa, a family treasure hunt, and carol karaoke.
