Duniye Spa Maldives wins TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for third time
Leading Maldives spa brand Duniye Spa has received the Certificate of Excellence 2017 by TripAdvisor for the third time.
“We would like to say a big Thank You to all our guests for helping us achieve such results,” an announcement by parent company Crown and Champa Resorts said.
Now in its seventh year, the Certificate of Excellence designation recognises establishments that consistently earn great reviews on TripAdvisor from travellers.
It accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
“This recognition helps travellers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service. TripAdvisor is proud to play this integral role in helping travellers feel more confident in their booking decisions,” TripAdvisor’s Vice President of Industry Marketing Heather Leisman was quoted in a statement issued by the platform.
Founded in 2002 by a group of international hotel owners, Duniye Spa has become a leading spa management and consultancy company in the Maldives and in the Indian Ocean region.
The brand’s spas are located in every resort owned and managed by Crown and Champa Resorts, including Komandoo Island Resort and Spa, Meeru Island Resort and Spa, Kuredu Island Resort and Spa, Hurawalhi Maldives, Vilamendhoo Island Resort and Spa, and Veligandu Island Resort and Spa. Several other resorts in the Maldives such as Mirihi Island Resort, Vakarufalhi Island Resort and Spa, and Robinson Club Maldives also house spas managed by Duniye Spa.
In addition to a wide range of relaxation, beauty and well-being offerings, Duniye Spa has also curated a list of products that combine traditional healing practices and natural resources.
