Hurawalhi Maldives recognised as Expedia Rising Star 2017 Resort
Hurawalhi Maldives has been declared the Expedia Rising Star 2017 Resort.
The Expedia Partner Appreciation Event 2017 was held at Chayaa Dhonveli Maldives on August 3. Minxian ‘Cherry’ Zhuang, Sales and Marketing Manager at parent company Crown and Champa Resorts, accepted the recognition on behalf of Hurawalhi.
“On behalf of the whole team, allow us to thank Expedia, our valued partner, for the support and encouragement, as well as to thousands of guests who have expressed their satisfaction with the resort’s service and facilities,” a statement issued by the resort said.
Expedia is an American travel company that owns and operates several international global online travel brands, primarily travel fare aggregator websites and travel metasearch engines, including Expedia.com, Hotels.com, Hotwire.com, trivago, Venere.com, Travelocity, Orbitz, and HomeAway.
The company operates about 200 travel booking websites in about 75 countries, and has listings for about 350,000 hotels and 500 airlines.
Officially inaugurated in January, the five-star Hurawalhi resort is accessible by a 40-minute scenic seaplane flight from the main Velana International Airport, and offers 90 villas, including 60 Ocean Villas and 30 Beach Villas, for grown-ups who are seeking luxury and innovation. The villas are stylishly and beautifully conceived featuring soothing décor, sumptuous linens on king size beds, bleached wooden floors, and private terraces with panoramic views.
