Maldives.net.mv – Pregnancy can be a stressful time for mothers-to-be, affecting both the body and mind which is why luxury five-star hotel, Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, is inviting parents-to-be to unwind and relax together at this romantic and secluded destination, with the new Babymoon package, making the most of the quiet time before their new member of the family arrives.

Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa’s new six-day Babymoon offering has been specially designed to prepare, relax and reinvigorate mothers-to-be, with pampering treatments taking place at the hotel’s luxurious Vindhun Spa. Hidden amongst lush Maldivian gardens in the heart of the resort’s private island, the Vindhun Spa is serene and private, with professional and experienced spa therapists who go to every effort to ensure they deliver an authentic and relaxing Maldivian experience for all guests.

Embarking on the first day of this six-day pampering journey, mothers-to-be are applied the Vindhun Spa’s signature scent on arrival, designed to refresh and revitalise, as well as being offered a fresh coconut to drink, the national fruit of the Maldives, for rehydration purposes.

Treatments can take place in one of the spa’s five treatment villas, all boasting beautifully made thatched roofs, or can be enjoyed in the privacy of guests’ own villas. On the first day of the Babymoon package, mothers-to-be are invited to enjoy the soothing benefits of a complimentary mineral salt foot scrub to stimulate nerve endings, before the specially created pregnancy massage begins. Focusing on the legs, arms, back and shoulders the Vindhun spa pregnancy massage increases circulation and removes the aches and pains brought about through pregnancy.

Using Maldivian indigenous healing knowledge and freshly harvested local herbs, the Vindhun spa therapists are experts in reinvigorating mind, body and spirit, helping to prepare mothers-to-be for the imminent big change in their lives. Following any Babymoon package treatment, guests are invited to relax in the shaded and beautiful tropical gardens that surround the Vindhun spa where they will be served refreshing herbal teas and sorbets.

For those mothers-to-be in need of some gentle activity during their holiday, the Babymoon package offers a special Aqua yoga class on the second day of this journey, taught by a highly trained yogic teacher. The class is designed to have a calming yet energising effect on the body, and takes place in the Vindhun Spa’s own spectacular infinity pool, shaded by the exotic plants. Supported in the calm warm water during this thirty minute class, mothers-to-be will find that they are more flexible and confident than before.

To ensure expectant mothers are feeling thoroughly relaxed and pampered throughout their holiday, on the third day of the package they will enjoy a gentle head and shoulder massage. This signature treatment from the qualified therapists at  the Vindhun Spa uses pressured circular motions to remove tension in the shoulders, which become tight in times of stress, and harness the natural healing and moisturising properties of the natural massage oils used by the spa. The gentle head massage is a calming and restful experience, aimed at assisting with sleep and reducing anxiety.

Expectant mothers will be given specific exercises to take home even after their holiday at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, designed to clear the mind, focus on breathing, and energise them for future months to come.

On the penultimate day of the Babymoon package, expectant mothers-to-be are invited to enjoy a unique Abhyanyam massage at the Vindhan Spa. A nourishing treatment that improves blood circulation throughout the body but being careful to avoid the stomach, the massage is perfect for any expectant mother. Lasting a full hour and a half, this is a deeply relaxing experience in which to reflect and recuperate.

Concluding their week of indulgence, mothers-to-be will be given a tailor-made rehydrating facial, which will leave them with a refreshed and glowing complexion. Harnessing the purifying properties of papaya, mango and pineapples, the facial deeply cleanses the skin, before restoring moisture with a rehydrating mandarin masque.

It’s not just mothers-to-be who can enjoy this new Babymoon offering either! Fathers-to-be can also enjoy bespoke spa treatments at the Vindhun Spa, or for those keen to stay active, why not head out to find some of the best dive sites in the world, go fishing, snorkelling, kayaking or just enjoy a good book on the beautiful white sand beach and get away from it all.
