Allied announces promotion for guesthouse insurance with discounted rates
Allied Insurance, the largest insurance provider in the Maldives, has announced a special promotion with discounted rates for its Guesthouse Insurance policy.
The promotion, which runs from now till the end of August, offers 20-30 percent discount for customers purchasing the policy. Instalment plans are also available for all policy premium payments exceeding MVR 6,000 (USD 389).
A raffle draw is to be held at the end of the promotion with the lucky winner given an advertising package worth MVR50,000 (USD 3,246). Under the advertising package, Allied will produce a video ad using state-of-the-art equipment and incorporating photography, videography (including aerial) and 360 degree visuals.
Launched in September, Allied Guesthouse Insurance policy include budget, budget+ and premium.
These tailor made packages offer complete peace of mind and total protection against risks of fire and natural perils such as tsunami, earthquake etc., and offers a comprehensive variety of add on extensions to choose from. These plans protect guesthouses against theft and burglary and water sports liability.
Maldives, known world over for its upmarket tourism industry, has resorts in the hundreds spread across the archipelago. The industry has in recent years expanded to introduce more affordable segments, including guesthouses and liveaboards. Some 300 guesthouses have started operations over the past five years as the number of travellers that choose to stay in guesthouses rise.
