Kandima Maldives hosts regional dermatology symposium
Kandima Maldives has hosted the Summer Symposium of the SAARC Association of Aesthetic Dermatology (AAD).
The symposium, which is being held from Saturday to Sunday, gathers dermatologists from the region for academic exchanges and panel discussions on various issues related to dermatology. Topics of discussion include new technology, ageing, face lifting, lower body rejuvenation, innovative uses of lasers and legal issues.
SAARC AAD was formed to spread mass awareness about aesthetic dermatology, and to conduct regular training and refresher courses for dermatologists working in South Asian countries. The regional organisation holds an annual conferences, and symposiums in the summer and fall.
