W Maldives has brought it’s passion for music to life with a rotating resident DJ. The world famous DJ, Kid Diesel, performs chill out mixes daily at their sunset lounge, SIP, and thrice weekly in 15BELOW, the only nightclub in the Maldives which is literally underground.

W Happenings presents a Havana Nights event every Sunday, where you can just chill out on the beach as the sunsets over the Indian Ocean horizon, while you relax to the beats and Mojitos. Plus the Retreat & Surrender provides a groovy end to a Wednesday night where large bean bags are set on the beach and the DJ Kid Diesel performs in the moon light.

Kid Diesel also known as DJ Brian is a producer, re-mixer, DJ and part of the Soulgangsters house music project. Kid Diesel has already played in more than 25 countries all around the world including China, Russia, Brazil, Ibiza of Spain, France, Greece, Maldives, Germany, Ukraine, and Malta.

With 14 years of experience, he is the most successful house music DJ in Central Europe specially Czech Republic. He has played two seasons in Ibiza, from 2004 to 2005, in clubs including Amnesia, Space and Somny.

Kid Diesel was a resident DJ of Paradise club in Mykonos which was voted Greek No1 club. He plays on the biggest shows in Czech Republic like Machac festival with Axwell, Sidney Samson, and Marco V, to an audience of over 12,000 people.

He also played at Pleasure Island festival with Paul van Dyk, Marcuss Schulz, Avicii on the main stage, while an audience of over 10,000 people rocked to his beats. While he mostly does warm up sets for DJs like TIESTO, Fedde le Grande or Erick Morillo, his Soulgangsters project is known in DJ community for their great productions and remixes.

Kid Diesel performs on 3 CDJs and his sets are full of own productions, remixes, bootlegs and edits.  KID DIESEL plays all styles of house music and progressive house.
