Angsana Velavaru to host Burning Man DJ Stuart Hunter for festive celebrations

Published

on

Angsana Velavaru is set to host Burning Man DJ Stuart Hunter during the upcoming festive celebrations.

Alongside Angsana Velavaru’s in-house DJ LAB, internationally acclaimed DJ Stuart Hunter aka DJ Motif will headline The Jungle Vibe Party on December 27, The Lagoon Party on 29 and New Year’s Eve Moonlight Party on 31.

Born in Coventry UK but now calling Sydney his second home, Stuart has been making waves through his own development as a DJ over the past couple years, as well as venturing into the world of promotions where his brand Motif is steadily becoming a go-to in Sydney’s underground Progressive House scene.

His music style has remained constant, featuring a blend of tracks sitting across the deep house, electronica and progressive house genres. Be it a tantalising warm up set or closing out proceedings with big melodic breakdowns, he shows comfort and maturity to keep the crowd wanting more at both ends of the spectrum. The recognition of this emerging talent is clear, having been asked to support some huge names in the business such as D-Nox, Eagles and Butterflies, Robert Babicz, Third Son, Cristoph, Quivver, and Khen and Madmotormiguel.

Stuart’s rise in Sydneyʼs underground scene was not rushed over night. After making his debut for the Spektrum crew, he followed that up with appearances for various promotions around the city until he hit his peak in 2016 when headlining Sash by Day at Greenwood hotel under their acclaimed ‘We Likeʼ sub-brand.

Since then, he has continued to stay humble and true to his craft, expressing his passion for music in his unique way, joining crews such as Blueprint Entertainment, S.A.S.H, We Love, Bassic Records and many others. In 2018, he performed at Electric Gardens Festival and Return to Rio, as well as Burning Man in Nevada and Burning Seed in Australia.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts, and Angsana Velvaru celebrates the festive season 2018/2019 in style.

From cocktail parties, DJ performances and gala dinners to family activities and kid’s Christmas beach fun and games, there is something for everyone at Angsana Velvaru. Apart from DJ Performances, guests will also have the option to enjoy a romantic Latino music by W&T band.

Originally from Argentina, Juan Pablo and Barbara have achieved a massive success in their home country and Europe. Barbara works on melodic compositions and lyrics for Sony BMG Berlin, whilst Juan Pablo is a renowned guitarist of The Tango Festival in Argentina.
