Furaveri Maldives has commemorated Global Wellness Day with a series of complimentary activities, prioritizing the holistic well-being of its esteemed guests. Situated in Raa Atoll near a UNESCO Biosphere reserve, the resort offers 169 spacious villas, providing an idyllic setting to immerse oneself in nature. With its core focus on three elements, including Wellness, Furaveri Maldives ensures a comprehensive experience that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. Global Wellness Day became an opportunity to showcase the resort’s commitment to promoting well-being and offering a transformative sanctuary for guests seeking holistic rejuvenation.

To kick-start the day on a tranquil note, Furaveri Maldives organized  a captivating TaiChi session  at the  idyllic Watersports Beach Area from 7am to Bam. Led by the esteemed resident Taichi master, Krishna, the session provided  a  rejuvenating  experience  for  participants. Taichi, a renowned Chinese exercise system, employs slow and seamless body movements, harnessing the principles of YIN and YANG energy . Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this ancient practice has been revered for its ability to prevent and cure diseases while fostering a better quality of life. Participants were encouraged to embody the five essential qualities: slowness to develop awareness, lightness for graceful movements, balance to prevent strain, calmness for continuity, and clarity to focus the mind.

As the day drew to a close, Furaveri Maldives continued its commitment to wellness by conducting an exquisite Oxigeno session from 5pm to 6pm. Guided by the resident yoga and gym instructor, Priya, this Body & Mind program integrated the principles of Pilates, Yoga, and Functional Training. Participants experienced a transformative journey as harmonious and flowing movements, intimately connected to their breath, enhanced their flexibility, strength, and mobility. Accompanied by soft and soothing music, the session provided a serene ambiance, allowing guests to connect with their inner selves and attain a state of peace and serenity . OXIGENO became the gateway to a better quality of life for all who partook in this unique experience.

Ms. Ayu, the Wellness Village manager at Furaveri Maldives, emphasized the significance of well ness, stating, “When we think about well ness, we think about ourselves.” This sentiment encapsulates the resort’s dedication to prioritizing self-care and holistic well-being.

Alongside these invigorating activities, Furaveri Maldives boasts its remarkable Wellness Village, constructed around a captivating local village concept infused with traditional Asian holistic healthcare practices. A serene world of delicate scents awaits guests, enveloping them in a captivating rustic ambiance created by wooden and bamboo interiors. The Well ness Village offers a comprehensive range of facilities, including a Signature Spa, Beauty Salon, Hydrotherapy, Yoga, Fitness Centre, and Tennis & Badminton courts. Embracing the notion of balance for the body, mind, and spirit, Furaveri Maldives invites guests to embark on an unforgettable well ness journey.
