3 Maldives (s)Maldives.net.mv – A delightful and glittering addition to the entertainment lineup for guests at Anantara and Naladhu this festive season and throughout January is renowned jazz and blues vocalist Coco York from the USA.

Throughout her career, CoCo has travelled from Australia to Asia, Africa to Europe and the United States where her name has become synonymous with jazz. She has shared the stage with artists such as Clark Terry, Lionel Ritchie, B.B. King and has performed for celebrities and heads of state such as Bill Clinton, Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands among others.

Her first professional appearances were in the clubs of the French Quarter of New Orleans where her intuitive response to Blues and Jazz was formed. From there, she travelled to Africa where she learned the rhythm of her roots and the songs of her people. A cultural ambassador of music with American Embassies around the world, we are delighted to welcome Coco to the Maldives for the first time.

Guests staying at Anantara Dhigu, Anantara Veli and Naladhu from mid- December and throughout January will be enchanted as Coco sings for them. Visit www.anantara.com and www.naladhu.com to reserve your stay.
