Soneva teams up with Valrhona to host world’s greatest Easter egg hunt
Soneva, the world-leading luxury resort operator, has announced plans to host the world’s greatest Easter egg hunt this Easter, in partnership with the luxury chocolate brand Valrhona.
Guests at all three of Soneva’s resorts in the Maldives and Thailand are invited to participate in the egg hunt on Easter morning, and search for 300 wooden Easter eggs hidden in the outdoor areas around each resort. Guests can then ‘swap’ the wooden eggs for real Valrhona chocolate eggs, at Soneva’s on-site chocolate parlours. The most successful ‘chocolate hunter’ will be awarded a prize, sponsored by Valrhona. The egg hunt is complimentary for all in-house Soneva guests.
In addition to the egg hunt, Soneva has prepared an exclusive Easter program, which includes activities such as picnics, island barbecues, astronomy sessions, private outdoor cinema screenings, champagne breakfasts, wine tastings and dinners, and much more. The detailed programs are now available to view for Soneva Fushi, Soneva Jani and Soneva Kiri.
Soneva Fushi has also partnered with one of the most elite Bordeaux wine estates to offer the Château Angélus Wine Dinner and Tastings experience exclusively for Soneva guests, from April 15-22.
This rarefied oenophile’s getaway will feature five nights’ luxurious accommodations at one of the world’s best private island resorts, together with a special wine dinner and series of tastings with Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal, the co-owner and General Manager of Château Angélus, and eighth-generation member of the de Boüard de Laforest family. Château Angélus is one of only a dozen estates belonging to the exclusive club of the First Growth of Bordeaux and, since 2012, has been ranked as Premier Grand Cru Classé “A,” placing it among the ranks of only three other elite estates at the pinnacle of the Saint-Émilion appellation.
In addition to the Easter Programme, Soneva is offering special packages for Easter if booked before March 15:
Soneva Fushi: Receive complimentary breakfast
Soneva Kiri: Receive complimentary half board, 10 percent off Best Available Rates, and complimentary room nights (stay 4, pay 3), (stay 7, pay 5)
Soneva Jani: Receive complimentary room nights (stay 4, pay 3), (stay 7, pay 5)
Bookings can be made online at soneva.com or through a preferred travel partner.
