Coco Collection receives 3 top accolades at World Luxury Hotel Awards

Maldives.net.mv – Coco Collection, a portfolio of renowned resorts in the Maldives, has been recognised in three categories at the prestigious World Luxury Hotel Awards Gala Ceremony, held in Phuket, Thailand on 1 November 2013.
5-star Coco Bodu Hithi was awarded Best Luxury Villa Resort, while Coco Privé Kuda Hithi Island won Best Luxury Private Island Resort, as well as the 2013 World Luxury Hotel Awards Overall Winner.
The World Luxury Hotel Awards are the world’s most prestigious awards exclusive to the luxury hotel industry, recognising the best facilities and service excellence the industry has to offer. The Awards account for 50 categories in the luxury hotel industry and include amongst others Luxury Private Island Resorts, Casino Hotels, City Hotels, and Lodges. Winners are purely judged on service delivery and effective management voted for by International tour operators, travel agents and hotel guests who get the opportunity to cast their valuable votes annually, making the process fair and unbiased. Over 1,000 hotels from 87 countries were nominated to participate in the world’s most prestigious Awards initiative for luxury hotels in 2013. The gala event attracted some of the industry’s elite, including a notable collection of winners, media, government ministers and CEOs from the travel, tourism, hospitality and lifestyle industries.

Sun Siyam Olhuveli and Guraidhoo star in High Road, Low Road grand finale

RTÉ One’s High Road, Low Road, in collaboration with Visit Maldives, selected Sun Siyam Olhuveli Maldives and the local island of Guraidhoo as the two locations for the grand finale of Season 4 of the popular Irish series.
As part of the show’s format, two actresses embarked on surprise trips, each experiencing a distinct side of the Maldives.
