Summer 2016 Six Senses Retail Collection Premieres

Published

on

Six Senses retailSix Senses Hotels Resorts Spas is geared up for the summer season and set to redefine and refresh the exclusive line of designer holiday wear and gift items at the group’s eclectic boutiques. The collection, brought together by the newly appointed Director of Retail Marie-Eve Macgoey, commences its launch at the resorts in Thailand this August, then rolls out to other Six Senses resorts and spas later this year.

“For months we have been developing a selection of women’s ready-to-wear, resort wear, swimsuits, jewelry and accessories and are very proud to see the Summer 2016 Six Senses Retail Collection come to life,” said Marie-Eve Macgoey. “Our commitment to sustainability is evident throughout the collection and is part of the brand’s ethos to being a responsible company that works with like-minded, local brands that follow sustainable procurement and manufacturing practices. We have also identified several companies that support minority-owned business and benefit women, children and underprivileged communities.”

Apparel reflects a casually sophisticated take on resort style wedded to the unique synergy that Six Senses has developed with local artisans and designers, with many of the selected items benefiting indigenous populations in Asia and Africa while staying true to the Six Senses brand values.

The range features garments that move effortlessly from leisure activities, sport and lounging to elegant evenings beneath starry skies. Natural fabrics are transformed into wisps of whimsy to layer over swimwear; sandals that are perfect for a beach or patio party and cheeky carryall bags of handcrafted macramé.

In addition to shorts, tops and bathing suits (for men too), the line includes vacation necessities such as branded caps, T-shirts and polos. Sensational colorful wraps and caftans in silk and cotton are just as much on trend poolside at a Six Senses resort as at a private soirée upon returning home. Similarly, bags and clutches add a touch of panache, while the Six Senses jewelry line presents an array of fabulous, fun and funky necklaces, bracelets and charms.

A men’s line is under development as well as a yoga wear and gear. Both will launch late 2016.
