Anantara introduces private hire offers for Maldives resorts

Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas is offering resort-hire packages at two of its resorts in the Maldives.
The experience allows guests to take over Anantara beachfront resorts and have exclusive access to spas, restaurants and resort facilities with staff waiting on their every need. The packages offer guests a range of leisure opportunities and activities bespoke to each resort, during their stay.
The offer has been developed in response to the coronavirus pandemic and provides guests with a private luxury travel experience which removes the risk of being exposed to the virus from other guests.
Resorts available under the package include Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas, Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort and Anantara Veli Maldives Resort.
All resorts will provide wellness offerings and allow guests access to Anantara Spas featuring a range of customisable signature wellness experiences inspired by ancient Ayurvedic wellness traditions.
Anantara Kihavah will feature the widest range of wellness opportunities as it’s home to both an Anantara Spa and Cocoon Medi-Spa, which will offer guests modern medical aesthetic, detox, or immunity-bolstering therapies.
The starting price to hire Anantara Kihavah is $95,000 (€83,665, £74,661) per night, while for Anantara Dhigu it starts at $100,000 (€88,069, £78,590) per night. Buyout offers at Anantara Veli are available starting at $70,000 (€61,631, £54,863) per night.
After the pandemic, all Anantara resorts will be operating with the new group-wide Stay With Peace of Mind Hygiene programme which builds on its existing health and hygiene regulations. All resorts will also have a dedicated ‘Guest Guardian’ who will be responsible for internal inspections based on a series of rigid brand hygiene guidelines.
Situated on Dhigufinolhu island in the South Male Atoll is Anantara Dhigu, where luxury meets simplicity. The resort comprises of the most spacious of luxury villas coupled with private plunge pools while just being a quick 35-minute speedboat ride away from the main Velana International Airport.
Anantara Veli, situated within the same lagoon as Anantara Dhigu, is one of the few adult-only islands in the Maldives where white sand and azure waters provide the perfect setting. The resort is perfectly suited to couples or groups of friends looking for a relaxing island hideaway where turquoise waters beckon from a choice of intimate accommodation bungalows, some with direct lagoon access.
Anantara Kihavah is just 35 minutes by seaplane from the Velana International Airport. Comprising 75 one-bedroom villas, four two-bedroom residences and a three-bedroom residence, each hideaway boasts large personal infinity-edge pools, dining pavilions, expansive wooden sundecks and ample lounging areas complete with swinging daybeds, hammocks and sun loungers.
The three resorts remain closed due to the travel restrictions imposed by the Maldives as well as countries around the world to contain the coronavirus pandemic. For more information about their reopening dates and bookings, please contact reservations.maldives@anantara.com.
