Baros Maldives rebrands spa, introduces new spa menu

Published

on

Baros Maldives has rebranded its spa and has introduced a new range of environmentally-sourced products in its popular spa menu.

In an announcement, the award-winning boutique resort said its spa has been renamed as “Serenity Spa” to match its reputation as a haven of tranquility and to reflect its new concept. The new name ties the enhancement of the treatments and products available to the expertise of the spa’s therapists who have each received personalised training in the use of new treatment mediums and techniques, it added.

“The spa’s new treatment menu incorporates curative powers of plants combined with entrancing healing traditions. New brands of result-driven ingredients with beautiful sensual aromas have been sourced from the UK, USA and Africa,” the announcement read.

According to Baros, the new spa menu features deluxe treatments such as the Tri-scented Lime Infused Luxury Massage incorporating nourishing and hydrating shea butter nuggets or a Full Body Indulgence featuring tropical elements of frangipani or sweet orchid. There is a medley of over 30 therapies for guests to choose from, guided by the advice of the spa’s skilled practitioners, it said.

“Guests are also invited to select their own programmes for rejuvenation, relaxation, revival and release,” the announcement read.

Baros said that emphasis has been placed on relaxing and therapeutic spa therapies that utilise products by Elemis, TheraNaka and Coola. Products like Coola, which are certified 70 percent organic and reef-friendly, enable the spa to offer treatments with ingredients that are compatible with the property’s ecological ethos, the resort added.

The spa is staffed by therapists who have been chosen for their skills as well as their caring and intuitive natures. They have full expertise in treatments of all kinds, with each treatment adapted to a guest’s unique requirements.

According to Baros, guests have the chance to enjoy a complimentary 15-minute Spa Taster on the day of their arrival at the resort or the next day. The offer allows guests to get familiarised with the Serenity Spa concept, and enables them to decide which of the various spa experiences would suit their individual requirements best.

Baros is a small coral island ringed by a sandy beach and a living house-reef, just 25 minutes by speedboat from the Maldives’ main Velana International Airport. It is an award-winning boutique resort renowned for discreet, personalised service excellence.

As a small leading luxury Maldives resort, Baros offers a choice of tastefully-designed Beach and Water Villas. With every Beach Villa of classic elegance, set in lush vegetation, and secluded Water Villas, many with private pools, Baros is one of the most romantic resorts in the Maldives, the perfect honeymoon getaway. Inspired by Maldivian traditions of heartfelt hospitality, Baros is a tropical island dream come true, with fine cuisine, a gym, an overwater swimming pool, individualised excursions and underwater experiences.
