Maldives Promotion House – Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) extends the deadline of ‘Sunny Side in Frames’ photo competition until 25 June 2013 before 1430hrs. The main purpose of extending the time limit is to allow more photographers to join the competition and to allow them to pool in new destination pictures.

This is the 2nd series of Sunny Side in Frames. The competition is open for the Maldivian photographers only. The photographers can contest in 20 different categories. All photographers interested in participating in the competition need to pre-register with MMPRC. The registration can be done from MMPRC website mpce.visitmaldives.com

The total price money for the competition is MVR 250,000. The first prize winner will get MVR 50,000; second prize winner will get MVR 30,000 and MVR 20,000 for the third place.

The purpose of the competition is to source professional unique photos to promote Maldives as a tourist destination and also to motivate professional Maldivian photographers to contribute their creative photos for the promotion of the Maldives.
