W Maldives scoops 7 awards in FHAM International Culinary Challenge

W Maldives Maldives.net.mv – W Maldives’ team of skilled chefs won seven medals at the recent FHAM International Culinary Challenge held in Male between August 21-24, 2016. It is an annual competition that attracts more than five hundred chefs from all the resorts and hotels in the Maldives.

The event is organized in partnership with the World Association of Chefs and Society (WACS), Chef Guilds of Maldives (CGM) and Chef Guilds of Lanka (CGL), and is curated by Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture, Ministry of Economic Development and Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Among the team’s stunning seven awards are:

5 GOLDEN 

  1. Maldives’ Best Chef Award by Sujith Premalal, Demi Chef de Partie.
  2. Hot Cooking – Lamb by Sujith Premalal, Demi Chef de Partie.
  3. Hot Cooking – Beef by Sujith Premalal, Demi Chef de Partie.
  4. Hot Cooking – Poultry by Sumith Wimalananda, Commis 1.

 

2 SILVER

Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives officially opens
