Princess Cruises declares Maldives as an Essential Experience

Maldives Promotion House – Maldives has been listed as an “Essential Experience” on Princess Cruises today. Among the “50 Essential Experiences: The Travel Bucket List” Maldives was listed as “Essential Experience #32” this week.

While sharing her experience of meeting the locals in capital city Malé, Regional Sales Director Stephanie Brennan wrote that she was overwhelmed by a dreamlike state brought on by the mesmerizing beauty of Maldives.

“The island resembled a David Hockney painting. The Indian Ocean was as mesmerizing as the crystalline blues of the chlorinated swimming pools that feature so vividly in Hockney’s paintings. The buildings were predominately painted a shimmering white, the better to reflect the 90-degree heat of the bright sun. The silence, the heat, the blue and white landscape combined to produce a dreamlike state on us,” she wrote.
