Cocoon Maldives marks official opening with grand ceremony
Cocoon Maldives has officially opened.
The official opening was celebrated with a grand ceremony in the resort Thursday evening which was attended by in-house guests, musicians, tourism pioneers and high ranking officials of the government.
VIP guests were welcomed with a cocktail reception at Manta, the over-water restaurant. The evening saw piano performances by famous pianist Chris Mars along with violin performances by renowned Italian artists Gemma and Paola. Live music events and dance flashes were performed by Internationally renowned local artist Mira Mohamed Majid and Maldivian Idol contender Falih Adam and bands.
Commenting on the official opening of Cocoon Maldives, Managing Director Alessandro ‘Alex’ Azzola said, “Cocoon Maldives is a dream I have had since a long time and finally being able to accomplish it is a great achievement. I have to thank our partners and to the government of Maldives for providing opportunities for investors like us to invest in the beautiful paradise islands of the Maldives.”
