New aircraft joins Maldivian
Maldives Promotion House – Maldivian airlines today celebrated a momentous occasion as it welcomed its first A320 aircraft.
The historic first flight landed at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport in Malé at 10:30 am arriving from Toulouse, Frnace via Doha, Qatar. It was welcomed by government ministers and management team of Island Aviation Services Ltd.
The aircraft interior was modified to a three class configuration: 14 business, 24 premium and 114 economy class seats and was installed with an in-flight entertainment system. It will be used for Maldivian’s new routes to Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi in India and Dhaka in Bangladesh.
National flag carrier, Maldivian is the airline division of the state owned Island Aviation Services Ltd.
