ACNielsen to Conduct Market Survey of Ibrahim Nasir International Airport
Maldives Promotion House – ACNielsen has been appointed to conduct a market survey at the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport of Malé. GMR Malé International Airport Limited (GMIAL), who runs the airport, appointed the global agency in order to develop and improve services.
The global marketing research firm, ACNielsen will be conducting a survey among tourists and service providers at the airport with the assistance of a team of employees selected by ACNielsen.
According to GMIAL, the survey will determine the concerns and opinions of tourists, sea plane operators, locals, resorts, employees, airlines and tour operators about the existing infrastructure and quality of the services provided at the airport.
The company noted that the survey will focus on improving the existing services available to tourists, amenities available to company employees and other service providers at the airport, and to provide new services to locals.
This company was founded in 1923 in Chicago, by Arthur C. Nielsen, Sr., in order to give marketers reliable and objective information on the impact of marketing and sales programs. ACNielsen began expanding internationally in 1939, and now operates in more than 100 countries.
