Herathera Closes For Refurbishment
Maldives Promotion House – Herathera Island Resort is a secluded paradise surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white, sandy beach. Only 20 minutes away via speedboat transfer from Gan International Airport, Herathera is now in the process of rebranding to Amari Addu Maldives.
Amari Addu, by ONYX Hospitality Group based in Thailand, will be opened in November this year. The resort is located on Addu, the Maldives’ southern most atoll, approximately 480 kilometers south of the capital city Malé.
Along with its four kilometers of beach, Amari Addu will have three natural lagoons and a turtle hatchery.
As part of the rebranding process, the resort has been undergoing a soft renovation since the beginning of this year. According to the resort the project has been moving ahead successfully as planned and will conclude by the end of October, this year.
However due to the essential upgrade of the guest arrival jetty and guest rooms the resort has shut down operations temporarily for a few days. The upgrading process will continue until 31st July of this year and will resume normal operations from August on wards.
