Centara Begins the Second Year of its CIRMS Internship Program
Maldives Promotion House – Centara Maldives has announced the beginning of the second year of its new internship program. One of the most unique resorts, amongst the many islands of South Ari Atoll, Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa began the Centara Institute of Resort Management Studies (CIRMS) on 15th July 2011 in Maldives.
Made up of two modules of Food & Beverages and House Keeping, the CIRMS program is a 6 month training course. The program, in association with the Faculty of Hospitality & Tourism Studies (FHTS) allows interns to study and practice hospitality in the resort amongst their well experienced team members.
The students are taught by the highly knowledgeable members of the management and those who complete the program are allowed to work in the resort. The second year of CIRMS will begin tomorrow on 23rd July 2012, on Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa and is a great opportunity for the youth of surrounding island communities to build a career in the hospitality industry. Though the program is in its second year, through the program Centara has developed outstanding additions to its team.
