Centara Grand Maldives takes green efforts beyond the shores

Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives, which has always operated a strong policy on environmental protection and conservation, is taking their green efforts beyond their own shores. On Thursday, 26th January, the resort’s team members visited Mandhoo, a neighboring local island and cleaned various public spaces around the island including roads, mosques, schools and beaches.

The resort’s environment programmes are recognised with local and international accolades including EarthCheck and Green Fins. In addition to the resort also have a Coral growing programme designed to rehabilitate parts of the reef that have stopped growing and promote the growth of new coral.
