Soneva Jani

Maldives.net.mv – Soneva Resorts and Residences, the world-leading luxury resort operator, has revealed its newest property in the Maldives, Soneva Jani in Noonu Atoll set to open in 2016.

The Maldives has always been the ultimate holiday and honeymoon destination. Set in the dazzling Indian Ocean, there are 1,192 coral islands of which fewer than 200 are inhabited. Medhufaru is a coral reef encircled island with a two mile lagoon, a perfect marine reserve. It is just 30 minutes by seaplane from Malé International airport and an exhilarating one hour speedboat ride from its sister resort, Soneva Fushi.

Expected to open in 2016, Soneva Jani will comprise only 57 villas. These include 24 over water villas with one and two bedrooms which can only be reached by boat. These have an enticing choice of either a sunrise or sunset view. There are a further 20 one bedroom Crusoe homes on land plus a choice of 13 three bedroom villas on the beach. One third of the properties are for sale.

Each bespoke private residence is built to meet the owner’s individual needs whilst remaining true to the Soneva value of Intelligent Luxury. Tempting features include a water theme for the outside bathroom with sand floors and stylish pebbles.

One and two bedroom villas can join the villa rental programme which offers a guaranteed yield of up to five per cent including some personal use and more if buying for pure investment.

Soneva Jani is a five star resort with excellent facilities including a beach restaurant, clubhouse, spa, cinema, water sports and dive school. Each villa comes with a Mr/Mrs Friday personal butler and full access to all the island’s facilities.

Soneva owns and operates Soneva Fushi in the Maldives and Soneva Kiri in Thailand. Soneva in Aqua, an ultra luxurious yacht offering an experiential travel experience, will be launched in the Maldives in late 2015.
