Veligandu Island wins TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for third year
Veligandu Island Resort and Spa has won the Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor for three consecutive years.
“Thank you for all your excellent feedback!” the resort said, in an announcement celebrating this year’s achievement.
Now in its seventh year, the Certificate of Excellence designation recognises establishments that consistently earn great reviews on TripAdvisor from travellers.
It accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
“This recognition helps travellers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service. TripAdvisor is proud to play this integral role in helping travellers feel more confident in their booking decisions,” TripAdvisor’s Vice President of Industry Marketing Heather Leisman was quoted in a statement issued by the platform.
Veligandu Island Resort, surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and a long stretch of white sandy beach, is the only resort on the island of Veligandu in North Ari Atoll. The resort, which is accessible by a scenic 20-minute seaplane flight from the main Velana International Airport, has 76 rooms, including 54 Jacuzzi Water Villas, 10 Water Villas and 12 Jacuzzi Beach Villas.
