Tree House of Amilla Fushi selected amongst top 10 new tree houses

Amilla Fushi –  In recent years, treehouses have shaken off their wobbly-planked, Swiss Family Robinson image and come over all des res. They’ve been popping up everywhere, in all shapes, sizes and styles, from family-friendly versions that look like every child’s vision of a treetop den to high-end hideaways that come complete with luxury linens, sophisticated sound systems and private pools.

MSN Travel recently checked out for some of the latest new openings going for tree-house trend for those who fancy a taste of the high life. Tree House of Amilla Fushi in Maldives was selected among the top 10 new tree houses around the world.

Due to open towards the end of this year, Amilla Fushi is promising to break the mould for Maldives resorts – and given that it’s being created by the people behind the world’s first underwater spa, there’s every chance it might deliver on that promise. Accommodation options, for example, will include five two-bedroom treehouses perched 12 metres up in the jungle foliage. Each comes with plenty of space, two bedrooms and – icing on the cake – its own cantilevered private pool.
