Arjen Robben Spends Holidays in Maldives

Maldives Promotion House – Maldives has always been on top of the list of dream destinations among tourists and celebrities. As a matter of fact, famous football players have also been spending vacations and other holidays in Maldives.

Recently famous Dutch football player, Arjen Robben arrived in Maldives for a vacation in Maldives. Robben arrived in Maldives on 19th June and will be staying until June 30th.

He plays for the German Bundesliga club Bayern Munich, and though often classified as a forward, he usually plays behind the forwards as a winger. He is also a part of the Netherlands national team and has appeared at Euro 2004, the 2006 World Cup, Euro 2008 and the 2010 World Cup.

Among other famous players spending their summer holidays in Maldives is, Vincent Jean Mpoy Kompany. Vincent is a Belgian footballer, currently playing for Manchester City and the Belgium national team. He is capable of playing both as a centre back, and defensive midfielder.

Kompany began his professional career at Anderlecht, spending three years at the Belgian club before moving to German club Hamburger SV in 2006. In the summer of 2008, at the age of twenty-two, he completed a transfer to his current club, Premier League side Manchester City.
