Swiss Tourists to Maldives Via Emirates
Maldives Promotion House – While Switzerland is a major provider of tourists to Maldives, Swiss tourists can now enjoy the luxury of Emirates. Emirates will allow them to arrive in Maldives via Dubai.
By using a combination of Boeing 777-200LR and Boeing 777-300ERs, Emirates has begun its first flights between Dubai and Geneva.
Arranged in a three-class configuration with First Class Private Suites, Business Class can enjoy lie-flat seats, and Economy Class has a spacious cabin.
All passengers enjoy the popular ice entertainment system, along with gourmet-chef prepared meals, served by a multi-national cabin crew.
The Geneva route is Emirates’ second gateway into Switzerland after Zurich, which started in 1992, and is now double daily. EK 089 will leave Dubai each day at 08:55AM and arrive in Geneva at 01:45PM. From Geneva, EK 090 departs at 03:15PM, arriving in Dubai at 11:30PM.
“This launch, in particular, has a strong international feel about it – linking Dubai, as a global aviation hub and centre for business and tourism with Geneva, a home to so many international organisations and an important financial and banking centre,” President of Emirates Airline, Tim Clark said.
“On the back of our robust financial results, the airline continues to drive forward – connecting key cities around the world.”
