Turkish Airlines begins flights to the Maldives

Maldives Promotion House – Turkish Airlines has launched direct flights from Turkey to the Maldives. First Turkish Airlines flight to Maldives TK730 arrived on Sunday morning. Aircraft was welcomed with traditional water cannon salute by fire tenders and arriving passengers were greeted with traditional Bodu Beru music and flower bouquets.

Turkish flag carrier will fly nonstop, 5-day-a-week service from Atatürk International Airport in Istanbul to Ibrahim Nasir International Airport in Malé. Flights leave Istanbul at 8:25pm and arrive at 7:10am. On the return they leave Malé at 9am and arrive Istambul at 230pm. Tickets prices start from USD 800 for round trip.
