He n She to send Maldivian models to Top Model of World, Miss British Empire
Leading local talent management agency He n She has announced plans to host a beauty pageant to select Maldivian models for two international pageants.
Over the past two months, He n She had hosted casting sessions in Maldives and Sri Lankan capital Colombo.
The shortlisted models will contest the grand finale on October 13, where two winners will be chosen to represent the Maldives at Top Model of World and Miss British Empire.
“Our objective is to create a platform to facilitate anyone interested and willing to work towards achieving their goals in this field. We are here to support and nurture different aspects of creativity, all the while creating a supportive environment and build self-confidence,” an official from He n She said.
“We are also planning to open a training school for models in the near future.”
The Top Model of the World is an international search for the ultimate models. The event started in 1993 in Miami and was organised by the Globana Group. It is now owned and managed by the World Beauty Organisation.
Last year, He n She hosted Top Model Maldives, the first ever international franchise beauty pageant in the Maldives.
The Miss British Empire international pageant was founded in 2011 by a former Miss Great Britain and actress, Liz Fuller, with the aim of paving a pathway of opportunities for pageant winners and help them carve out successful careers in the field of international media and showbiz. The pageant also prides itself in finding talent and nurturing individuals who are aspiring models, singers, dancers and actors for example and giving them the exposure they need.
Founded in 1993, He n She emerged as the first revolutionary fashion, design and music event planning company in the Maldives. The brand continues to dominate the industry with trust and professionalism as one of the most reliable organisers of fashion and music events in the Maldives.
