Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa wins TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for second year
Maldives Promotion House – Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, located in the heart of one of the largest and deepest natural atolls in the world, has been recognised by TripAdvisor with a 2013 Certificate of Excellence. This prestigious award is given to businesses that consistently earn high ratings from travellers, and places Hadahaa in the top-performing 10% of all businesses worldwide on TripAdvisor, for the second year running.
Leading travel website, TripAdvisor features reviews and advice on hotels and resorts around the world. Outstanding service, great value and top quality are hallmarks of the 2013 Certificate of Excellence. To qualify, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, and the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months is also taken into account.
TripAdvisor also ranks Hadahaa number one out of four resorts in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll, in the southern Maldives. Located in an untouched area 400 km south of the capital Male, Hadahaa is now easily accessible via a new domestic airport at Kooddoo, which opened in September 2012. This has halved the internal travelling time from Male international airport to the resort.
Julian Moore, General Manager, Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa commented: “We are extremely proud of this achievement and are delighted that our level of service has been recognised by TripAdvisor for a second year. We are committed to offering the finest facilities and providing the highest level of service, and guest feedback remains extremely important. We will continue to work closely with TripAdvisor with the shared goal of further raising the benchmark.”
This achievement follows an extensive refurbishment of Hadahaa in 2012, to coincide with the launch of Kooddoo Airport. In 2012, Hadahaa also won the coveted Green GOOD DESIGN Award and achieved Silver EarthCheck Certification – becoming one of only three resorts in the Maldives to be certified to this level. In 2013, Hadahaa was accepted as a Virtuoso property, placing the resort amongst some of the finest worldwide.
