Palm Beach relaunched as Palm Beach Island Resort and Spa Maldives
Palm Beach Resort and Spa Maldives has been relaunched as Palm Beach Island Resort and Spa Maldives.
Italian operator Sun Sporting Holidays Ltd ceased operations of the resort last month. The resort is now run under a local management.
Set on one of the largest islands in the Maldives, Madhiriguraidhoo in the northern Lhaviyani atoll, Palm Beach Island Resort and Spa Maldives is reachable by seaplane in 40 minutes from the main Velana International Airport. It is surrounded by the wonderful blue Indian Ocean and four kilometres of white sandy beaches.
Placed along the shore with beautiful sea views and beach access are 136 guest rooms equipped with every comfort: air conditioning, separate open air bathtub and shower, traditional Maldivian swing and furnishings, mini bar, telephone and safety deposit box.
With three restaurants, Palm Beach Island Resort and Spa Maldives offers a wide choice of international and local delicacies, both buffet and à la carte – all in breathtakingly beautiful settings. The resort also boasts three bars: the main Feshun Bar, the poolside Raaveriya Bar and the beachside Thundi Bar.
The Coconut Spa at Palm Beach Island Resort and Spa Maldives is the place to be for those who seek relaxation on idyllic sandy shores. The spa boasts three indoor treatment rooms and two sea view treatment rooms as well as sauna and steam-bath rooms, a manicure and pedicure room, and two jacuzzi.
