The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is celebrating a triple win at the World Travel Awards Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony.
The prestigious World Travel Awards Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony took place at the five-star Sun Aqua Vilu Reef resort in Maldives on Saturday, with hospitality leaders from across the region in attendance.
At the ceremony, the newly opened St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort won three top accolades, including two regional awards, Indian Ocean’s Leading Luxury Island Resort and Indian Ocean’s New Luxury Resort. Additionally, the ultra-luxury private island resort was awarded the title of Maldives’ Leading Luxury Island Resort.

The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, named in the Condé Nast Traveler 2017 Hot List as well, is nestled on a private island in the secluded Dhaalu atoll, amidst thriving marine life. Just 40 minutes from the main Velana International Airport by seaplane, guests are transported to a newfound paradise.
Designed with great respect to its natural surroundings, the resort, which opened in November, is surrounded by a large house reef and the island is defined by several distinct ecological areas: lagoon, beach coastal and jungle. Master Baker Steven to conduct IREKS Baking Art & Science training in Maldives
