Will Prince William and Princess Kate Honeymoon in Maldives?

Maldives Promotion House – Almost 30 years has passed since the knot of matrimony was tied between Princess Diana and Prince Charles. Yet once again a most royal knot has been tied. The Westminster Abby was filled with royal family members and other VIPs, as the royal couple, Britain’s Prince William and Kate Middleton, were wed. Fashion icons David and Victoria Beckham were among the invitees to the successful wedding of Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge and William the Duke of Cambridge.

Kate was dressed in a beautiful ivory gown by McQueen’s Sarah Burton, and to everyone’s surprise and against the conventional bridal wisdom, Philippa Middleton, the maid of honor, was also wearing a slim ivory sheath, also by McQueen’s Sarah Burton.

Since the news about the royal wedding of Britain’s Prince William and Kate Middleton flooded the internet, the wedding menu and the guest list had been kept as closely guarded secrets, amidst the strong speculation. One of the other secrets includes the honeymoon destination for the royal newlyweds.

Now that the couple has been wed increasing talks of the royal couple spending their honeymoon in the Maldives has also emerged. Maldives has already invited the royal couple and is awaiting an answer.

While being a Commonwealth country Maldives has also maintained a close relationship with the United Kingdom. As Maldives is a famous destination for celebrities and high class figures from all over the world, chances of the rumor being true is very high.

Moreover Maldives is a popular destination among British honeymooners as well as those looking for family vacations. This is easily understandable because of the total privacy of the Maldivian islands that tourists take for granted.

Completely surrounded by soft white sandy beaches and crystal clear azure blue lagoons, Maldivian resorts provide unmatched privacy and hospitality to all tourists. Celebrities such as Cristiano Ronaldo, David and Victoria Beckham, Gordon Ramsay, Madona, Ricky Martin and Kate Moss, are a few amongst celebrities who have spend vacations in Maldivian resort islands. Maldives has also won the World Travel Awards’ “Wold’s Most Romantic Destination 2010” award among others.

While receiving the award the State Minister for Tourism Arts and Culture, Thoyib Mohamed said that, “we are definitely the number one. We are the most romantic destination in the world, and we will try to win all these awards in the future as well.” It is a fact that we have the sun, we have the sea, and we have the most beautiful beaches in the world.

With award winning super luxury resorts that rank among the best in the world, Maldives offers you unmatched pleasure and romance. With the world’s leading hotel brands such as Jumeirah, Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, W Hotels, and Six Senses Resorts & Spas, in the Maldives, the major question is, will the royal couple choose Maldives for their honeymoon?

Whatever their decision maybe, we at Maldives Promotion House congratulate the royal couple on their marriage and wish them luck.
