DJ Poet rocks Subsix, world’s first underwater music club

Maldives Promotion House – Per AQUUM’s grand finale to the launch celebrations of Subsix, the worlds’ first underwater club at NIYAMA ended with Per AQUUM Music Ambassador, two-time GRAMMY® nominated and US Billboard #8 Dance/ Electronic artist, DJ Poet on Friday night. With an undisputedly successful performance by Tinie Tempah on opening night, Subsix is officially a venue for global superstars.

As one of the most talked-about members of Los Angeles’ music elite, Poet is this generation’s artist and producer. Poet hit the decks six metres below sea level heading straight into his hit list including, ‘Skeleton’, ‘Feel Alive’ with Fergie and Pitbull that was featured on this summer’s blockbuster movie, Step Up Revolution, ‘Beam Me Up’ by Cazette, ‘City of Dreams’ by Alesso and ‘Fly’ by apl.de.ap. Making the crowd fist pump and head bob to his catchy beats, guests were ecstatic when another top Artist and Producer, Chebacca, made an impromptu special guest appearance. He took over the mic to premiere his latest collaboration with Poet, ‘Olympian’. This high energy track saw Poet and Chebacca rap, sing and interact with guests on the dance floor. It was an epic night with truly global superstars.
